Camp Downer’s mission is to provide a positive and affordable camping experience for youth in a safe, constructive, and welcoming environment.
Design Camp Downer’s next T-shirt!
Current and former Camp Downer campers under the age of 18 are invited to submit designs for Camp Downer’s newest T-shirt. The winning design will be placed on the front of a Camp Downer T-shirt sold in the Camp Downer Store. All proceeds from T-shirt sales will be donated to Camp Downer’s Scholarship Fund!
Why the name Camp Downer?
Charles Downer donated 705 acres of forest in Sharon, VT to the state of Vermont.
The land then became the Charles Downer State Forest and now is the home of our beloved Camp Downer!
