What to Bring to Camp!

*Please write your name clearly on each item. Camp Downer is not responsible for any items that are lost, damaged, or left at camp.
Bath, Health, and Hygiene:
Prescription and over-the-counter medications – must be in the original container from the pharmacy and submitted to the healthcare staff upon arrival at check-in.
Bath towel & washcloth
Personal hygiene (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, non-aerosol sunscreen, and bug spray, etc.)
Bedding:
Pillow and pillowcase
Twin fitted sheet
Warm sleeping bag
Extra blanket
Stuffed animal if desired
Clothing (If your camper is attending the 2-week session, we recommend doubling):
Raincoat – A MUST!
Sweatshirt
A pair of sneakers
A pair of slip-on shoes for the pool and pond
Boots (hiking or rain)
Pants (at least 3 pairs)
Shorts (at least 3 pairs)
Shirts (long & short sleeves)
Socks (extra – 2 pairs per day may be needed)
Undergarments (extra — just in case!)
Pajamas
Hat and sunglasses for sunny days
Bathing suit & large pool towel
Miscellaneous:
Plastic bag for wet items
Laundry bag
Pen/pencil & writing paper
Self-addressed & stamped envelopes
Flashlight
Water bottle – A MUST! clearly marked with camper name
Please note that the following items are NOT ALLOWED at Camp Downer:
Weapons of any kind
Aerosol cans
Electronic devices of any kind (with the exception of digital cameras)
