Abigail has spent at least a week of every summer in the Downer State Forest since she was seven. Camp is home for Abigail and she is thrilled to steward the wellbeing and safety of its community this summer as the Camp Nurse. During the year, Abigail works as a Registered Nurse on the Comprehensive Transplant Unit at the The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and as an Assistant Speech and Debate Coach at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. This summer, she is excited to lend her clinical expertise, commitment to diversity and inclusion, and community-oriented care model to Camp's mission of fostering individual responsibility in the development of good health and safety habits. She is also excited to disconnect from technology and be outside!! If you need them, Abigail and the rest of the healthcare staff will be ready to graciously welcome you into the Nurse's Cabin this summer.
