Amanda Mitchell, Board Secretary

Amanda grew up at Camp Downer spending her childhood summers enjoying the beautiful Downer Forest and all that camp has to offer. She began work as a counselor in 1994 and then held various positions through the summer of 2002. Her commitment to Camp Downer was revived in 2020 when she joined the volunteer board to serve a community that she values.

Outside of camp Amanda resides in Grand Isle, VT with her husband and daughter and works as a litigation project manager in Burlington. Her daughter has spent many summers as a camper and her love of Downer continues the tradition.
